I just realized that a topic, like “immigrant woman” is still too broad…and in fact, it is not a good topic for a community….as community is a group of people, who share same belief , are involved in activities regularly ..etc. and I think “RELATIONSHIP” is the key thing about the community.
so I think my cell group is still a good example for community..as we share same belief, values and are involved in activities regularly(weekly cell group metting and Sunday service)..and we are related to each other as the family in Christ. 
Besides, all of our cell group members are all immigrants or international students from Asian. Even people from my church are all Chinese…… we have a similar cultural background.

Migrants are different with locals, women are different from men, I am a migrant and I am also a woman, I have five other girl friends, they are all immigrant women, we often meet together, we have lots of things to discuss about. Our life style and our future in a new country etc……This is my immigrant woman community.
So I think that immigrant woman is a good topic

thank you for your sharing…I am an immigrant and I work part time as well…that’s why I was thinking to do “immigrant woman” this topic before, as that’s the community I belong to.. But since I started to think “relationship” is a important thing for a community, I found a cell group is more suitable for the project as cell group members have stronger relationships with other members- members view other members as their family. I personal believed that this is different with the community of immigrant woman.
Besides, I can easily get the interviews to be done when we have the meeting.
Are you from TS class?Can I join your immigrant woman group?
